Remote editing?

I'm an experienced HGTV editor and commute every week from Las Vegas to LA. Would love to build a stable of remote clients to work from Vegas. Everyone I talk to says it's near impossible. What do you think?

  • It is possible to do, especially if you have established clients who trust you to get the job done. I am doing some remote work from clients in LA (I live in Tennessee), but these are people I worked with for years when I lived out there. It's finding the new ones that is proving difficult.

  • I said it was near impossible, until last year. I did 3 different gigs, all remote. I just talked to a new place and they are fine with remote editors as well. Seems like it's becoming more and more of a thing.
